She is a dedicated specialist who can address most eye condition with procedures ranging from LASIK, Custom Cataract Surgery, to Dry Eye, Glaucoma, and Cornea Treatments and corneal Transplant surgeries.She has worked as senior consultant surgeon at Tara Netralaya (charitable Hospital),Mumbai and has performed more than 5,000 cataract surgery.

She completed her medical degree (M.B.B.S)from the reputed Grant Government Medical College & Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals, Mumbai .Dr Ankita went on to complete ophthalmology training at the prestigious Lokmanya Tilak Municipal General Hospital and Medical College (Sion hospital), Mumbai .

After her post-graduation, she completed the fellowship in Cornea and Anterior Segment from the world renowned PBMA’s H. V. Desai Eye Institute, Pune.

She also holds Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Ophthalmology. She is a Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO) , London. She has successfully completed MRCS in Ophthalmology awarded by Royal college of Surgeon, Edinburgh, U.K.
